Garfield County will now use new online bidding software to offer surplus county vehicles, office equipment, and other surplus items of value for sale, providing citizens with greater access to these items. Eight vehicles are currently for sale.

Silt Mayor Rick Aluise cuts the ribbon on a new solar array that will power the Silt Water Treatment Plant. The 756 solar panels will produce 234 kilowatts, and supply 100 percent of the plant's annual electricity requirements.
