Election ballots mailed On October 13, the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder's staff mailed 29,500 election ballots to residents of Garfield County. If you do not receive a ballot within one week, contact the Clerk & Recorder's office.
Garfield County is in the planning stages for the 2016 budget. A budget overview summarizes the sections of preliminary budget planning, which will be available for public comment when the 2015 Proposed Budget is prepared.
Garfield County Public Health is holding flu vaccination clinics October 15, 22, 24 and 31. Clinics are in Glenwood Springs, Carbondale and Rifle. In addition, vaccinations are available by appointment at 945-6614.
