Garfield County offices and administrative departments are closed Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 25, for the holidays. Functions that serve the community in emergency or 24-hour capacities remain in operation.

Garfield County Public Health is conducting a short community survey on food issues in Garfield County. The health department hopes to gain feedback from a wide-ranging audience to better understand food preferences, food insecurity, and access healthy foods.

The annual report for this year's 80th annual Garfield County Fair and Rodeo is now available. In 2018, main event ticket sales totaled $186,352.56, surpassing 2017 sales of $140,749.
