Tobacco prevention

The Tobacco Education, Prevention, and Cessation Program (TEPAC) in Garfield, Eagle, and Pitkin Counties is working in partnership with local healthcare clinics and providers toward increasing referrals to the Colorado QuitLine tobacco cessation program, a free personalized plan available for people ready to quit tobacco.

TEPAC is also working to reduce secondhand smoke exposure throughout the region through assessment and identification of opportunities to strengthen policies, for instance, in multi-unit housing.

For more information on tobacco cessation and prevention in the tri-county region, please call 970-328-8808.
